About this job

The post holder will lead a small team of Assistant National Organisers and / or Organising Assistants and work closely with regions and service groups to increase strategic organising activity and develop strategic organising capacity across the union.

Strategic Organising Unit activity will support delivery of the national organising strategy within the key national priority areas of the union.

Although the Strategic Organising Unit is based at the UNISON Centre, the post holder may be located within a UNISON Region, and will work across England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland as required.
