The Greater London Region is currently recruiting a permanent and 2 Fixed Term Area Organisers to work with our branches to co-ordinate and lead the union’s organising agenda across the region.
Our public services are under major threat. Our members are working under extreme pressure but are actively campaigning for services and jobs.
The successful candidate will bring their experience and skills in one-to-one communications, recruitment, organising, negotiating and campaigning.
To undertake this role, you will need to be able to demonstrate experience and knowledge of the Trade Union and Labour movement and UNISON in particular.
Previous experience as a recruiter, organiser and campaigner within a Trade Union or within a similar organisation would also be desirable.
