We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and resourceful individual to help shape that vision.

UNISON is presently looking at how to deply our rich data and insight in to our members and the world of work and is looking for a confident insight and data analyst to lead this work across the Union. You will undertake complex statistical analysis looking across all areas of UNISON’s activity using a variety of different data sources. You will produce and present complex insight to a broad range of audiences. You will play a key part in developing UNISON’s data modelling capabilities, key performance indicators and reporting solutions. You will act as a key representative in supporting UNISON with its recruitment and retention strategy, digital campaigns and organising on the ground. You will work directly with senior officers working to the Chief Operating Officer.

You will have a proven track record of data analysis working in a complex, high volume, data rich environment. You will have experience of communicating complicated information in a comprehensive way to non-specialist audiences. You should have an understanding of how membership, political, commercial and charitable organisations are using advanced statistical methods, together with ideas of how this could be translated into a trade union environment.
