UNISON is seeking an experienced part-time property manager to oversee the union’s freehold and leasehold regional property portfolio.

About this job

The postholder will deal with acquisition, disposal and maintenance of buildings in line with UNISON’s strategy, to meet the changing needs of the union’s staff and membership.

They will manage office relocation and refurbishment projects, appoint and instruct  specialist professionals (surveyors, solicitors, valuers etc), and provide advice and support to branch officers on property transactions.

This is a job-share role overseeing a small team. The post may be based in Central London, or one of UNISON’s regional offices, but extensive regional travel will be required.

The ideal candidate will have at least five years’ experience of property management, including managing projects, and a RICS /BIFM or similar qualification.
