The RMS Operations department oversees all development, training and support for this membership system and ensures this essential organising tool meets the union’s needs. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a experienced Project Manager to join the RMS Operations team based at UNISON Centre, London.
The role:
The main responsibility of the Project Manager is to project manage our replacement membership system so our 2,000+ user community, covering UNISON staff and branches all access a modern membership system. The successful applicant will deliver software changes, web-based developments and data cleansing initiatives on time and within budget. The Project Manager will also provide leadership, expertise and technical direction to other union staff.
The person:
This role is a key position within the RMS/Membership Operations team. To be considered for the role you must have:
- Significant experience of managing projects from initiation to completion using establish project management methodologies like PRINCE 2.
- Experience of developing large membership systems and an appreciation of good system design.
- The ability to capture the business needs of Regional, Branch and National Office users.
- Business analysis and software implementation skills.
- An advanced level of ICT skills.
