About this job

Reporting to the Central Services Manager, you will be responsible for the maintenance and security of all plant, machinery, equipment, building services and site operations at the West Midlands Regional Centre, including Health & Safety and office accommodation for approximately 75 employees plus visitors.

Organise deliveries and set up rooms for meetings, including IT and telephone support.

Manage cleaning staff and contractors whilst on site.

To carry out minor maintenance tasks including changing light bulbs, minor repairs to fixtures and fittings, maintaining the efficient operation of the heating system etc.

Responsible for any issues relating to the Car Park.

You must have:

  • Experience of working in a modern office environment with an understanding of related Health & Safety issues, manual handing
  • Ability to prioritise duties and work as part of a team, use email and basic software packages such as Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Experience carrying out minor repairs and building maintenance
