Working as part of a regional team, you will provide an administrative/organisational support service, as required, to the Area and Labour Link teams carrying out a wide range of duties including maintaining calendars and data bases, dealing with telephone enquiries – using UNISON’s IT applications and relevant office equipment. You’ll also liaise with UNISON members, employers, solicitors and other external parties.

You will need to be IT proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and other software packages, accurately touch typing at speed and help to maintain databases including our case management records.

For this role, you do not have to have a trade union background, but you do need to have an understanding and sympathy with the aims and values of the trade union movement.
