About this job
You will have experience of Purchase Ledger work, including the checking & processing of invoices, checking and reconciliation of supplier statements, filing of invoices and dealing with queries.
You will be responsible for the processing of high volumes of purchase ledger invoices in an accurate manner, prioritising workloads to ensure standards and timetables are met.
You will need to be fully competent in using accounting software packages and Microsoft Office applications, e.g. Excel, Word, etc.
Good general level of education including GCSE (A-C) in Maths and English
Within the post there is scope to assist in other areas of the Finance Operations team, including Sales Ledger and Cashiers.
You will need to have the ability to work within a small team and a willingness to help others at times of high workload.
The appointment will be on a full time permanent basis at the Head Office in central London. In return, the successful candidate will receive a competitive salary based on the current pay and grade structure, 32 days annual leave and benefits of a final salary pension plan as well as flexible working options.
