About this job
UNISON is proud of the work we do to stand up for NHS staff and services. We are proud of the work our members do as part of the whole healthcare team and of the support our network of branches and stewards offers in every NHS workplace. Our job is to make working life better for the whole nursing family – could it be yours?
We are looking for a nurse to join our busy London-based health team. As a national officer, you will work with our elected committee to provide help and advice to our reps and branches on issues affecting nurses.
Core skills for the job include influencing and organising, along with excellent communication skills and the ability to run and shape our campaigns. A detailed knowledge of the NHS, a track record in working as part of a team and experience of speaking up on behalf of nurses in a representative setting will be an advantage.
If this all sounds good, we’d love to hear from you.
