About this job
You will be providing essential support services to UNISON’s membership and Regional staff. In addition to general administrative duties, you will be dealing with internal and external post; providing reception duties and assisting with the Regional administrative procedures. You will have contact with all levels of National, Regional and Branch staff as well as union activists and members. You will also need to liaise with external organisations including our suppliers.
Whilst office experience and a knowledge of standard office equipment is essential, you must also have good telephone and communication skills and be able to deal with complaints and other issues in a sensitive and positive manner. You will also need to be able to work in a busy team environment.
