About this job
This role will be responsible for organising and supporting the delivery of UNISON’s national education programme by undertaking all duties related to course administration including booking and arranging venues for courses and events, sending out joining instructions, issuing invoices and recording all learner data accurately on UNISONs membership and training systems.
This role also has responsibility for updating the Learning and Organising Services team web site page with news and articles and promoting learning and other activity on the team’s social media platforms. Additionally the post holder will support and update the Learning and Organising learning site (learning management system / moodle).
You will need excellent administrative, clerical, communication and IT skills to carry out this role, in addition to having the confidence to work on your own initiative, and as part of a team.
An understanding of trade unions and their objectives would be an advantage.
The post will be based at the UNISON centre, central London.
