About this job

UNISON has led the way in the UK union movement in digital innovation – with a focus on using digital tools to support our activists and organisers on the ground, as well as adding value to outward-facing media campaigns and recruitment programmes.

We’re looking for a new digital communications manager, to lead our digital team and manage the union’s digital programme. The digital team is part of our wider communications department which includes writers, designers and campaign planners.

Your leadership skills, specialist knowledge and people skills will help us keep our leading edge on digital trade union organising and use our wealth of member data to deliver truly member-centred communications and engagement.

With your energy, expertise and passion for using digital media to communicate and engage, you’ll be able to collaborate well with people at every level of the union to deliver digital communications that really help us to engage with our members, create powerful public campaigns and recruit new members. If that sounds like you, we want to hear from you.
