About this job

This is a temporary post for 21 hours per week until 31 March 2019. The post will be based at the UNISON centre.

The Administrator (ULF) will provide administrative and financial support to the Education Officer (ULF) and the ULF Project team to ensure that UNISON’s learning agenda is integrated into the work of the union at national, regional and branch level by promoting activities of the ULF project.

The Administrator’s duties will include collecting and collating learner and equality and diversity data from branches and regions and inputting this data into Unionlearn’s TRAX system and UNISON’s membership system, extracting information from the systems, analysing and presenting data in summary format, identifying trends, and that targets have been met.

Other duties will include booking and arranging venues for meetings and events, preparation and distributing correspondence, drafting and despatching publicity material and other information to regions and branches and liaising with ULRs and learning organisers to promote member learning and ULF activity.

Ideally you will be proficient in MS office (word, excel) and email systems, be familiar with using spreadsheets, data processing and use to managing high volumes of forms to process. You will have the ability to work equally well independently and as part of a team, have good written and verbal communications skills and strong organisational skills.
