About this job
This role will be working for Western Sussex Hospitals UNISON branch and Central Sussex Hospitals UNISON branch. The branches cover hospitals across Sussex so there will be travel to different locations. The NHS has high levels of activity with representation and restructures so the role needs considerable experience managing casework and dealing with restructures in the NHS. The role requires maintaining confidentiality and ensuring the unions equality standards are applied in all work There will be recruitment activities to organise and deliver. The role with local stewards to mentor and build skills. A highly motivated individual with great communication skills, the ability to take initiative and work flexibility will be required.
A knowledge of unions and their objectives is essential.
