There has never been a more important time to protect our members. Are you a people person with good listening and administrative skills? Have you got proven office experience and a desire to make a difference in people’s lives?

A number of UNISON’s Bedfordshire Branches are looking for an enthusiastic and resourceful administrator to help us support our members and local branches by taking part in this exciting opportunity in the new Bedfordshire Resource Centre.

The successful candidate will be an experienced team player, have good communication and time management skills, including the ability to organise your own workload and effectively manage your priorities. You will need to undertake a range of administrative duties to support our members and activists including often working to tight deadlines and being responsible for updating and maintaining accurate and confidential records.  As well as being a confident communicator you will have excellent IT skills and be highly motivated and organised.

You do not have to have a Trade Union background, but you do need to have an understanding of the aims and values of the Trade Union movement.

Some lone working may be required and you may be required to travel for training purposes.
