About this job

Your role will be to lead and run tender processes from start to finish, including sourcing and vetting suppliers, drafting documentation, analysis of bids and post tender clarification and negotiation. You’ll also manage suppliers for national arrangements, advise budget holders on procurement matters and undertake day to day purchasing. You’ll get involved in all areas of UNISON’s operations.

You will need to be enthusiastic; have experience of running tenders; have excellent communication, negotiation and organisational skills to be able to deal with multiple categories and work on your own initiative.
