About this job

Able to work to deadlines and under pressure, you will have a high standard of accuracy and be confident in using your own initiative. You will have contact with all levels of National, Regional and Branch staff as well as members and external organisations. Everything you do will be in accordance with UNISON policies and the legal requirements on confidentiality.

Whilst office experience and knowledge of standard office equipment is essential, you must also have good telephone and communication skills and be able to deal with complaints and other issues in a sensitive and positive manner. You will need to be able to work in a team environment and provide general clerical assistance when required.
