The BRANCH ORGANISER will work on an individual/collective basis working within UNISON’s Community Service Group.
The successful candidate will bring their experience and skills to the role and be able to develop and deliver recruitment and organising initiatives and campaigns
You will have excellent presentation skills and communication skills, both face-to-face and on paper. A sound understanding of trade unions and their objectives is essential along with a good understanding of UNISON’s policies and objectives. Essential to this role is the ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a wider team. You must be able to work effectively under pressure and prioritise work. You should be familiar with issues facing the Community and Voluntary sector.
