UNISON has a membership of over 1.3 Million members and its membership system is accessed by 12 Regional Offices, National Office, UNISON Direct and over 800 Branches. The RMS Operations Unit oversees all development, training and support for this system and ensures this key organising tool meets the union’s key objectives. We are looking to appoint two fixed term roles to assist with the work associated with the Trade Union Bill and Membership audit.
The role:
Working as part of a small team, your responsibilities will be to support users of our membership system at National and Regional Offices, plus UNISON Branches. This will involve liaison with User Support, Technical Services and MTL (Membership system supplier). As well as providing system support, the role also involves providing specific information by using specialist reporting tools, documenting business processes, user acceptance testing, support of pilot implementations and training users in the membership application.

As well as having knowledge and experience of supporting a large membership system, this role requires excellent communication skills, a good telephone manner and a commitment to provide a prompt and courteous service. Although the post is based at UNISON Centre, this position does require some travel to other UNISON Offices.
