About this job

The Caseworker/Organiser will represent branch members on an individual/collective basis and provide advice on work related issues.  A working knowledge of employment law is essential.This post requires industrial relations experience, organising and IT skills, and an ability to develop and implement effective communication strategies for members working within UNISON’s Bucks Area Branch.

Essential to this role is the ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a wider team.  A full driving license and the ability to travel extensively across Buckinghamshire is required. A car is not provided. The successful applicant will need to provide their own vehicle and provide evidence of adequate Business Insurance.

You must be able to work effectively under pressure and prioritise work.  You should be familiar with the local government, schools, further education, private, community and voluntary sectors, where the work will be undertaken.
