UNISON Yorkshire & Humberside Region is looking for a permanent and various fixed term and fighting fund Local Organisers to support its organising agenda.  The successful candidates will recruit new members and work with regional organising teams, mapping membership density and supporting campaigns which help to develop new activists. To undertake this role you will need to demonstrate an understanding of the trade union movement and previous experience as a recruiter, organiser and campaigner within a similar organisation would be desirable.

You will need to be prepared to travel within the region as required including to our regional office in Leeds and also to London on an occasional basis for training or other purposes.
