About this job
The strategy will be based on a sound understanding and analysis of successful organising in UNISON and across the wider trade union movement, as well as an understanding of the challenges posed by the changing work environment for public service workers.
The postholder will be responsible for developing the strategy for community organising. In addition there will be an emphasis on developing new ways of bringing members together and making UNISON more accessible to them through the use of electronic organising and the development of shop front open access resource centres.
The post holder will need to work closely with colleagues in regions and branches to develop and ensure the delivery of organising campaigns. As well as cooperating with other colleagues in the Centre on the development and delivery of strategy
