You need to be an enthusiastic, flexible and resourceful individual to support our growing organisation. The successful candidate will bring their experience and skills to the role and be able to develop and deliver recruitment and organising initiatives and campaigns in our branches, train and develop and support a wide range of activists.
You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills including being confident in using social media platforms to communicate and campaign. You will have experience in dealing with the press, drafting press releases, producing and editing newsletters, magazines and other hard copy communications.
A sound understanding of trade unions and their objectives is essential along with a good understanding of UNISONs policies and objectives.

Candidates short listed to attend the assessment centre will be advised on 26 October 2015. Candidates successful at the assessment centre stage will be invited back for a formal interview shortly thereafter.
