The South East Region is currently recruiting 13 Local Fighting Fund Organisers. Which will be filled either on a secondment basis or as a fixed term contract employment opportunity.
Successful candidates will bring their experience and skills in assisting branches to recruit, map membership density, develop new activists, organise and drive forward our campaigning work in branches and across the region. To undertake this role you must have good interpersonal and IT skills, excellent administrative and organisational skills and a good understanding and knowledge of the trade union movement.
You will need to be able to travel within the geographical location of the branch area, to the Regional Office based in Guildford and possibly to London and meetings/training as required.
Local Fighting Fund Organisers will work with dedicated branches and be based in the following locations:
Basingtoke and Winchester
Ashford & St Peters and The Royal Surrey
Berkshire
Buckinghamshire
Maidstone
Southampton and Winchester
Strood
Universities in Oxford
Southampton and Surrey Universities
Milton Keynes Area
Surrey County
