Standing committees

Regional committee takes decisions which affect the day to day running of UNISON in the West Midlands region between meetings of the regional council.

It acts on any matters referred to it between meetings of the regional council, and performs any duties delegated to it by regional council.

  • Branch development and organisation
  • Communications and campaigning
  • Education and training
  • Finance and resources
  • Welfare
  • Sport

In addition there are the health and safety and international forums, both of which are open to delegates from all branches.
