Regional council
Regional council is the main policy making body of the region.It consists of delegates from branches (elected once a year) and other regional post holders and NEC members and meets four times a year.
The annual meeting takes place in April in Birmingham and the other meetings usually take place during February, July and November. The July meeting is usually held out of Birmingham.
All meetings usually start at 10.30am and finish around 1.30pm, depending on the amount of business to be considered.
Priorities agreed for NDC
(05/06/2008) A very well attended Regional Council agrees priorities for National Delegates Conference 2008 - top priority is Green Issues, closely followed by Defend Council Housing
West Midlands Regional Council Meetings 2008

Regional Council Officers & further Regional Committee nominations
(28/05/08) A number of officer posts and committees were elected to at the Regional Council AGM on 5 April. Nominations are sought for the remainder Regional Committee vacancies:

Green Issues & 4th Option agreed as Regional motions to Conference
(12/02/2008) Regional Council supports motions on Jubilee Debt Campaign, Bolivia Solidarity Movement and priorities Green Issues and the 4th Option for National Delegates Conference in June 2008.
