About us

Valerie Broom regional secretary Welcome to the West Midlands region of UNISON, Britain's biggest trade union. Our members deliver public services across the region, and I'm proud of the services that we deliver in turn to them. This website shows new and prospective members what we are doing across the region, as well as being an information resource for existing members and activists. I hope you find it useful.
Valerie Broom, regional secretary

Steve Beardsmore regional convenor With membership on the increase, it would be fantastic to see more people becoming actively involved in our union. A sign of a healthy union is seeing new people participating in the democratic structures - at whatever level they can. I am always pleased to see new faces.
Steve Beardsmore, regional convenor
