Stop the BNP

What is UNISON doing?

Standing up to the politics of hate

UNISON has a strong and proud tradition of standing up to the racist BNP. This year is no different.

The BNP has its sights set on winning a seat in the European parliament. UNISON is campaigning to make sure that does not happen.

We are working with Searchlight's Hope Not Hate campaign to raise awareness of the threat from the far right and increase voter registration and turnout.

It's crucial to mobilise everyone opposed to the politics of hate to turn out and vote, because every single vote will count.

Organising, informing and mobilising are key. Using the same technology as the team behind Barack Obama's successful presidential campaign, we are building a network of activists in every corner of the country. We urge you to get involved.

Join us to defend a dynamic and inclusive multicultural society that values all its members equally, irrespective of their race, nationality, gender, sexual orientation or disability.

Together we can stop the BNP. Find out how you can get involved.

Vote to keep the BNP out on 4 June
You have the chance to send a clear message to the BNP: Keep out, you're poison. Use your vote to stop the BNP sowing its seeds of hate in our community. Use your vote to stop the BNP from destroying our democracy. Use your vote to protect our public services and the workers who provide them.
