The Million Women Rise march on International Women’s Day (Saturday 8th March) is asking women to join together in a show of solidarity to call for an end to all forms of violence against women. The Duty places a legal obligation on all Public Authorities to promote equality for women and men and take action to eliminate sex discrimination and harassment.
Women’s self-organised structures at regional and national level comprise the Regional Women's Committee and the National Women's Committee.
