The Regional Policy Weekend is being held at Portsmouth Holiday Inn, Portsmouth on 1st/2nd October 2010. The will be a Regional Committee meeting from 10.30am on the Friday 1st October. MELA FESTIVALS
Mela are spectacular one-day festivals, which celebrates the rich tableau of South Asian culture and creativity, both in Britain and throughout the rest of the world.
UNISON will be attending the Eastleigh (11th July) and Southampton (17th July) mela festivals which will provide great recruitment opportunities and a chance for us to raise our profile within the community

The next International Seminar will be held on 16 November 2010, in the Regional Office at Guildford, where there will be a range of interesting speakers and workshops. If you are interested in attending this international seminar, please speak to your branch secretary and ask them to express your interest in advance to avoid disappointments in future.
3 Companies Project Hits Reading!
The 3 Companies Organising Project is a joint project between UNISON and Service Employees International Union (SEIU) with the aim of organising and recruiting within three global catering companies: Compass, Sodexo and Aramark.
