Further to our last update in March, the National Medirest Union Forum met on 5th June 2008 in Central London. The group discussed a number of items, which are all outlined in this bulletin.
A soft FM Steering Group meeting was held on 29 April and below is a summary of the key issues discussed.
In the last bulletin we advised members that we had again asked the company to pay the ‘agenda for change’ rates to staff at Aintree, Derby and Tameside where we have an agreement in principle with the Trusts but payment has been delayed because the final costings have not been agreed.
