UNISON members in Westminster came to show their support for police officers protesting against interference in their pay award on 23 January. Police staff in UNISON have agreed a 2007 pay settlement of 2.5% from 1 September last year but the Home Office delayed paying officers' rise until 1 December, cutting its value to 1.9%.
