How to use this Campaign Pack
We hope that this pack includes what you need to understand the history of our campaign for a UNISON lesbian, gay bisexual and transgender group, why this is the right decision, and how you can help make it happen. Although most sections have the same titles as in the pack produced earlier this year, they have been updated.
To bring the new group into being, we need to secure a two thirds majority in the debate on the necessary rule amendment at UNISON's national delegate conference in June 2005. The pack includes advice on getting your branch's support in that crucial vote.
But we also need to get our message out wider - to as many UNISON members as possible - so the new group can start on a solid base, reaching the members it is there to serve.
If you have further questions which are not answered in these documents, please contact us for more information.
