Rent service

UNISON represents admin staff and rent officers working for the new Rent Service. The agency was set up in 1999 as an executive agency of the Department for Transport, London and the Regions. Talks are still on going over union recognition.

Despite a difficult first two years UNISON has built up an effective steward network in the agency. UNISON workplace reps are currently dealing with the following priority issues:
