Negotiating framework agreed

(02/09/08) Trade unions and local government employers in England, Northern Ireland and Wales have agreed a framework for further talks, holding out hopes of settling the current pay dispute by the end of this year

We have confirmed the way forward with employers following an initial meeting yesterday to kick off the reopened NJC negotiations

Although employers in England, Northern Ireland and Wales have returned to negotiations, it is vital we maintain a high profile campaign to highlight the injustice faced by our members in local government and related employers
