(26/09/07) As the military start to move in on the pro-democracy demonstrators in Burma, there has been an unprecedented response across the globe. You can take action too by joining the demonstration outside the Burmese Embassy this Friday and by donating to Burma Campaign UK, who are working at full stretch with diminishing resources.Demonstrations are taking place every lunchtime outside the Embassy. The TUC is asking trade unionists to join the pro-democracy group on Friday from 12-1pm, and call on the military government to restore democracy. UNISON is calling on all activists to try to attend this Friday.
