Strike for fair pay - Scotland 20 AugustOn 20 August, local government members in Scotland are going on strike over a below-inflation pay offer.UNISON members and colleagues from GMB and Unite will take part in the 24-hour stoppage which will affect all council services, including schools, cleaning and environmental protection, housing, leisure and recreation services, home and residential care, libraries. Members in local government in England, Wales and Northern Ireland will also be supporting members in Scotland in their fight for a fair deal.
