Political fund launched in Belfast

Dave Prentis helped launch the general political fund in Northern Ireland last week with a pledge to fight against the threat of cuts to services in the region.

"Our members need us - our communities need us" to fight "cuts and rising unemployment in Northern Ireland," he told a gathering of activists in Belfast. And Mr Prentis concluded: "We will make our voices heard."
