NHS staff 'need pay safety net'
"NHS workers - particularly the low paid - are finding it extremely tough to make ends meet" and need the safety net of the reopener clause in their three-year pay deal, UNISON head of health Karen Jennings said as health unions submit evidence to the NHS pay review body this week.

With inflation running at a 16-year high, the NHS unions have joined forces to press the government to reopen pay talks for next year.
