Local government talks reopen tomorrow

Negotiations between the joint unions and the local government employers in England, Northern Ireland and Wales are due to begin again.

UNISON is hopeful the talks will usher in a new era of employment for council workers, with improved pay and conditions that begin to match up to that of other public service staff.
