UNISON negotiates with individual academies and we also have recognition agreements with several academy sponsors and are building these relationships to support our members.
Trade union recognition and agreements
In new Academies, The TUC Model Agreement for Academies in England should be used to assist trade unions in negotiations with new academies.TUC Model Agreement for Academies in England (October 2010)
If employers do not accept the full TUC agreement please use the Guidance Note and Key Principles as a basis for negotiations.
