The Day of Dissent by staff in further and higher education, which saw more than 100 protests across the UK, has given a boost to the campaign to defend further and higher education.
FE and HE unions will continue pay negotiations with the employers over the next weeks to try to squeeze more money out of the employers and will then be consulting with members on any final offer.
With continuing cuts and further redundancies the joint unions campaign will continue.
