President's view... Norma Stephenson Conference marks the end of my presidential year, but it's also the beginning of another year for UNISON - setting the union's policies and priorities for the next 12 months. It's been an honour to represent the union. I've really appreciated meeting members and fellow trade unionists during the year. I'm sure it'll be a lively conference - and I know that although there'll be some tough tackles going in, we'll echo the respect agenda of my own chosen charity, Show Racism the Red Card, and make sure that UNISON is the winner. |
