Violence at Work is a serious problem across public services. It is consistently raised by UNISON members as one of their greatest concerns at work. Incidents include staff being punched, pushed and kicked while carrying out their jobs. Staff are threatened and sometimes even held against their will.

We have now opened the Online Conference System (OCS) to allow branches to register delegates and submit motions in line with the rule-book requirements.

The UNISON WET & Energy Equalities seminar is the annual event for members working in the Water Industry, Environment Agencies, Transport and Energy sectors to take part in workshop sessions covering a range of equalities areas.
The seminar is aimed at all UNISON members across the WET and Energy Service Groups who are involved with or interested in learning more about equalities issues in the context of trade union work, and in becoming better equipped with the knowledge, skills and advice to take this forward in campaigning, bargaining and organising.
